Number of Graduate Student Instructors by Unit
for Fall and Winter Terms 2007-08
Posted January 23, 2008
Units with a relatively large number of undergraduate students, such as LS&A and Engineering, engage a correspondingly large number of GSIs. Schools that offer programs only at the graduate and professional level are likely to have very few GSIs or none at all.
Students are counted in each unit where they hold an appointment, either for the same term or for a different term. Students may have an appointment for only the Fall or Winter term or may have an appointment for both terms.
